  2. I would really like to read the story, because I'm having a hard time following what is going on here. I guess a little more context would help. Is it about a lot of kids in a house?

  3. this reminds me of your story with the family at the children's home. their life together. eating, playing, going to school together.

    initial thoughts:
i can feel the closeness and busyness(6,8).

your most interesting image is 7. great eye.
the one that invokes the strongest emotion is 3. i feel impatience and almost boredom.
    2 is absolutely precious.

i don't know exactly what your final goal with this project is but i would like to feel more connected with the children. i would love to see more closeups. to see their eyes, their personalities, their faces.

you're awesome. and i know you are producing and catching some amazing images.
    you rocks my socks.

  4. I like the composition of #1.

#2 could be a little wider for a better sense of place.

I hate the shoes image. You can and I know you will make a better image with that since you've gotten that shot out the way.

In general, I am a big fan of visible eye contact among people in a frame, wouldn't mind seeing more of that. There seems to be a pattern here of someone looking out of the frame at I don't know what. Try to keep more images with their attention in the frame.

    I like #7 too.

Try to not keep everything at wide angle lengths, try to get some layers set at 35mm or 50mm. Yeah, there are some real moments in these, but the shots are too wide angley for me to get drawn to them.

Well, you kinda told me what this was about and I know you get burned out of the writing stuff. So, my advice for that is to come up with a two sentence synopsis and maybe a 2-3 word title and just give that people when they ask. But like you really needed me to say that, so stop rolling you eyes!

Finally, if you can find one or two people to focus this project around that might help you focus more on the story you are trying to tell.
